Nota bene: Bruce the Keyboard the PCB is in fact, a PCB and not a human.
Changelog:
- v1: supports tray mount only
- v2: supports tray and plate mount. Updated silkscreen.
- v3: supports tray and plate mount. Updated silkscreen. Added rotated switch positions at all positions, so caps can be mounted "the correct direction" for vertical caps. New black soldermask.
This is a premium keyboard PCB that is based on STM32F072 MCU, with Vial firmware preflashed on it. To complete a Bruce the Keyboard build, you will need:
- 34 MX style switches and some way to solder them in
- (optional) 2x 2u PCB mount stabilizers
- (optional) a case
- (optional) a plate
- (optional) case and/or plate hardware
- 34 keycaps (the sizes needed for an original Bruce the Keyboard build are listed below)
- 1u: 18
- 1.25u: 6
- 1.5u: 4
- 1.75u: 4
- 2u: 2
The completed build is by Chronomap, using a V1 PCB and Black Doys for caps in a Not the Human case. Note that this listing is for the PCB only.
